Heritage Day

The Heritage Festival on Saturday 20 April in Priory Church Grounds from 11am - 3pm.  The event will take you back in history with re-enactments and living history displays.

Great Malvern Priory Grounds & Lyttelton Well Rooms:

11.00am - 3.00pm

  • Feudals Living History interactive displays - learn how fabrics were dyed, how they milled flour by hand and see a demonstration on arms and armour.
  • The Sealed Knot living history and battle re-enactments including arena displays at 11.30am and 2pm followed by interactive activities for children.
  • Children’s activities from Worcestershire Wildlife Trust.
  • Join MAKE in a Heritage Themed Craft Workshop.

 

The Mayor’s Civic Service ‘Celebrating Malvern’

3pm - 4pm in Great Malvern Priory

Join the Mayor, at her Civic Service.

The Service will be led by Rev’d Rod Corke and will focus on Malvern and the Hills, with contributions from The Hills Singers, Malvern Hills District Brass Band, Sight Concern, Peter Smith from Autumn in Malvern Festival, Evie Knight from Friends of Dame of Laura Knight and displays in the North Aisle on all things Malvern.

Pop along to Malvern Museum where it will be Free Admission for the entire day of 20 April.
