Skatepark consultation

Welcome to the Victoria Park skatepark consultation public event and survey.

The position of the new community hub building currently under construction in Victoria Park has required the closure of the current skatepark.  The purpose of the public consultation is to engage the local community to help shape the future of the skatepark facility and its location within Victoria Park.

In order to ensure that the skatepark design meets the needs of the community, we are asking for your views as a local resident, parent/guardian, current or future skatepark user.

We held a public face-to-face event on Tuesday 20 February at the United Reformed Church Hall in Malvern Link and were very pleased to see so many people attend during the afternoon and evening, all of whom had ideas and thoughts that they shared regarding the proposed skatepark location, and what they would like to see in the new skatepark.

We also have a survey for you to fill out which is available online by using this link or scanning the QR code, or pick up a paper copy at the above event, or from the Town Council offices on Belle Vue Terrace. The closing date for the survey to be returned by is 11.45pm on Friday 22 March.

If you have any questions regarding the above, please ring the office on 01684 566667.
