We were delighted to reach our target of filling 100 Festive Cheer bags that have now been delivered by the Salvation Army and the Malvern Hills Foodbank to families in the local area that had been identified as needing a little extra help this Christmas.
We received donations from Waitrose, Morrisons, Co-op Food stores, Worcestershire Children First (Worcestershire County Council), County Councillors Paul Tuthill, Lucy Hodgson and John Raine, and we have also had huge support from local traders including Heidi's Treasure Trove, Barnards Green Post Office, Boots Great Malvern, Wilkinsons and Meridian Specialist Packaging on Spring Lane. We have also been given donations from Bayliss and Harding who are based in Redditch.
Thank you so much to all of you.
Your generosity in these difficult times has overwhelmed the Town Council staff and we wish you a very happy and healthy Christmas and New Year.
