Remembrance Commemorations 2024

This year, Malvern Town Council is organising the following annual Remembrance Commemorations and welcomes anyone who wishes to join us as an opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.

Remembrance Sunday 10 November, Great Malvern Priory Church & Malvern Library

  • Joint Remembrance Service with Great Malvern Priory Church at 10am
  • Remembrance Parade starts from Outside Great Malvern Post Office, between 10.45am – 10.50am and will parade down Church Street and into the grounds of Great Malvern Library.
  • A short service including a two-minute silence will be held at Great Malvern Library War Memorial at 10.57am.  This will be followed by the laying of wreaths.

Marilyn Birks, Mayor of Malvern, said “Remembrance Sunday is our chance as a nation to stand together to remember the millions of people from across the United Kingdom, and from across the world, who have sacrificed so much to keep us safe.”
